Andaria’s UK CEO, Kevin McAdam, has been appointed Vice Chair of the Payments Innovation Forum (PIF), joining incoming Chair Jonathan Vaux, Head of Propositions and Partnerships at Thredd. The appointments were confirmed this week under PIF’s rotating governance model, which sees the Vice Chair step into the Chair role every three months.
Kevin brings more than 25 years in payments across the UK, Europe and North America, with a career spanning issuance, processing, card manufacturing and programme management. He has led BIN implementation projects, secured principal scheme memberships, launched card solutions across multiple verticals and, most recently, delivered Andaria’s EMI licence in the UK.
At Andaria, Kevin oversees the group’s UK operations and its relationships with Visa, Mastercard and Discover, supporting the delivery of Business Payment Accounts, Card Programmes and Embedded Finance to businesses across a range of sectors.
PIF operates as a not-for-profit trade body representing the payments industry, giving members a collective voice in the conversations that shape regulation, innovation and standards across the sector. Its rotating leadership structure is designed to bring a continuous flow of perspectives to the top of the organisation and draw on the collective expertise of its Board, which includes representatives from Mastercard, Discover, Thredd, DECTA, ANNA Money, Blackhawk Network, Edgar, Dunn & Company and Lighthouse Compliance UK.
Commenting on his appointment, Kevin McAdam, CEO of Andaria UK, said:
“PIF is one of the most effective forums in the industry for turning collective expertise into practical progress. I’m looking forward to bringing an operator’s view to the Board and, in due course, to the Chair role, supporting members as they navigate the regulatory, technical and commercial questions shaping the next phase of payments.”
Diane Brocklebank, Payments Innovation Forum Executive Director, added:
“I would like to thank Scott for his outstanding support and the momentum PIF has built under his leadership. As the payments landscape continues to evolve at pace, strong and adaptive leadership at the heart of PIF is essential. We are privileged to have a Board that consistently brings expertise, clarity and challenge to our work, helping drive the progress our members expect. With Jonathan and Kevin at the helm, I’m confident PIF will continue to thrive for our industry and members.”
Kevin’s three-month term as Vice Chair begins immediately. He will step into the Chair role at the end of Jonathan Vaux’s term, in line with PIF’s rotation cycle.
