Technical Product Owner

As a Technical Product Owner, you’ll be working closely with our products and have strategic oversight over our development plans. You’ll also:

  • Work with business functions and aid in building business cases for future projects

  • Receive and analyse business cases prior to their presentation in a project prioritisation forum.

  • Act as the customer-technology bridge of the institution, i.e., understand customer needs and translate these into technical user stories for projects, breaking down business requirements into technical implementation tasks via the backlog.

  • Lead the delivery and implementation of technical projects using agile methodologies

  • Participate in daily stand-ups with the relevant technical teams implementing changes.

  • Perform end-to-end activities related to implementation planning, issue management, communication, and change management

  • Act as the technical advisor to internal stakeholders

  • Participate in integration projects with various providers, taking lead in the initial analysis of API integrations

  • Help personalise the customer experience while at the same time accomplishing future business scalability

  • Be at the forefront of the technical innovation, and always seek to explore and implement best-of-breed technical solutions

  • Endeavour to keep updated with industry innovations, particularly new product offerings within the financial industry, including competitor analysis.

  • Liaise with 3rd party providers to ensure successful implementation of technical projects.

  • Work closely with specialists within the technology function to ensure availability and security of the institution's technical product offering

Here’s what we need:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related degree

  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into technical solutions

  • Familiarity with the financial sector, particularly European markets, would be an asset

  • Experience configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
